Acne treatments

It may take some time to find one that works best for you so please be patient and be positive,we will talk now about the OTC which means over the counter drugs that u can buy from any nearby pharmacy and some may not do the trick and others may cause irritation.so please be careful.
The most popular OTC acne-fighting ingredient is benzoyl peroxide which is found in most of the effective acne treatment medications. It was first developed in the 1920's by Revlon to treat acne. There is one drawback to benzoyl peroxide, in large quantities it is carcinogenic and has been known to induce cancer. However, the concentration of benzoyl peroxide in the typical acne treatment medicine is 2.5% to 10% for both over the counter and prescription forms.. Another ingredient, salicylic acid, can help to dry up pimples.OTC drugs are the first line in fighting acne so if it fails it maybe the time to seek a doctor help as a doctor can prescribe special gels or creams, pills, or a combination of both.
If you're taking a prescription acne medication, finish your entire prescription even if your skin clears up, unless your dermatologist says you can stop. If you stop too early, there's a chance your skin could break out all over again.
What about pimples we all suffered from them and some still ,well popping or squeezing a pimple usually won't get rid of the problem. Squeezing can actually push infected material and pus further into the skin, which can lead to more swelling and redness and even scarring, which can be permanent.
Some other typical types of acne treatment are laser acne treatments, herbal acne treatment, the acne naturist treatment, over the counter medications, prescription medications such as Accutane, there are even acne muds natural treatment and lotions that can be used to treat acne, and of course there is the good ol home treatment for acne.
At the end you should know that you don't need to be obsessive about what you eat or how often you wash your face to control acne.
At the end this article is not a substitute for medical advice and you should seek it in your local area for more information, please comment and leave a feedback of what u need to read more about in the future.
