Addiction is a chronic, often relapsing brain disease that causes compulsive drug seeking and use despite harmful consequences for people who are dependent and those that surround them.

This is the "Virgin High" reached only once and never again. The pursuit of this "Virgin High" begins pathological behaviors that are recognized as part of "behavioral addiction"
